January 1, 2020: Furever Home Running is now closed. We will remain open for the 2020 Ordinary Marathon registration through mid-May.

Capital City Series: Richmond, VA

The third race in the Capital City Series spotlights notable figures from Richmond’s past.

Richmond was named after an English town in what’s now London because the James River looked like the River Thames from Richmond Hill. This race highlights two of Richmond’s most famous citizens – Maggie Walker and Edgar Allen Poe.

This is a virtual race – you can participate from anywhere you want, any time you want, any way you want. Start by clicking on “Register” above. From here, you’ll select your desired race distance, shirt size (if you want one) and add the registration to your cart.

Once in your cart, you can choose to continue shopping for other races and/or merchandise, select your shipping method, and check out. At checkout, you will enter your information, read the terms and conditions at the bottom of the page, and place your order.

Furever Home Running will send you your race packet and you can participate in your race when you want! Once you complete your race, log back into your account at https://fureverhomerunning.com/my-account/ to enter your finish time, a picture, and a story about your race (if you want). You will also be able to download a finisher’s certificate with your race information, which is suitable for framing!
